Justification by God

Key verse: Romans 3:24
“Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;”

Justification is the action God takes to approve man according to His standard of righteousness. God can justify man without compromising His divine righteousness on the basis of the redemption of Christ. Since Christ has paid the price for our sins by His death, and since His redemption has completely fulfilled all God’s legal requirements imposed upon us, God must now justify us freely. Such justification is by the grace of God, not by our works (Recovery Version, Footnotes 1 and 2 of Romans 3:24).
